Paris Hilton popularly referred to as the hotel Heiress is the proverbial bad girl. She has been in all sorts of problems - from drug abuse, sex scandals to the more mundane rash or drunken driving. This pretty lass has done it all. We wonder when was the last time she actually went to church for a full fledged confession? She is one of those who publicly proclaim their flaws and never seem to be apologetic about it.

Even when she was arrested for ‘driving under the influence’ of god knows what, she said that it didn’t matter as she would soon be released and back on the streets. It was for this attitude that she lost out on her stake and inheritance of the famous Hilton hotel line. But even this hasn’t sparked off any change in her attitude.

Lindsay Lohan, the teen star gone wild. It is often noticed that when a huge sum of moolah lands in adolescent hands, there is emotional instability and blurring of goals. The same is the case with Lindsay; she’s become so accustomed to driving down the fast lane, what with high-society parties and night outs, that the word ‘sober’ is just not a part of her dictionary. Her drug and alcohol induced state is perennially on display for the wider audience. Her frequent trips to and from rehab has done little to curb this way of life.But the ultimate solution has just arrived. With her last film done, it seems like all other opportunities have begun to dry up, including the minor roles.

With the means of cash inflow reducing, it’s pretty obvious that her high life will soon have to be down sized. That includes, the $315000 that she spent at rehab, the $2700 that she spent per day for a year for a suite at Los Angeles Chateau Marmont and $70000 that she spent on a fake tan must have burnt big holes in her savings. The only option the actress has is to land herself into a plum project to maintain her high standards. Until then, she is hoping that her soon-to-be launched Leggings Line brings in the green bills.

Britney Spears is one girl who believes in having doubles – be it kids or husbands. Whether it’s shaving her head to draw public attention to her woes, indulging in substance abuse or putting up unsurprisingly mundane and unbelievably horrendous stage performances, Britney has done it all. This just seems like it’s the beginning of the end for her days of glory. However if she does want to get to top of the charts like she had done once upon a time, she’ll definitely have to curb all those extra dosages and flings.

The whole downward journey of the singer started when she split with her first husband. It was at this time that her substance abuse hit the ceiling and she went into painful rehab… However once she was out and despite being told to steer clear of relationships for a while, she did just the opposite and plunged head first into another. This brainless behaviour has only heightened her problems and put her nerves on the edge.

Her last few performances have been like watching a drowning career struggling for a few gasps of air.

Fergie... well not the Duchess of York, but the one from the popular band Black Eyed Peas. She has always been proclaiming her craving for the highly addictive crystal meth, though she’s now slowing down. Claiming to have given up on chasing the ‘white dragon’, it will almost be a lifetime before Fergie rids herself completely off it.

Besides going overboard with meth, Fergie has also been in news for other not-so great reasons. But thanks to her star status, she has managed to get into a rehab and awaits the ebb of the flack.

But sooner or later it will be back; ice users who have stopped go into a serious patch of withdrawal symptoms and altered states of living. So it’s not surprising to see Fergie spaced out every now and then…

Nicole Richie, or rather Paris Hilton’s sidekick has also been in equally troubled waters. The only difference being that hers were usually overshadowed by Paris. What ever be the case Nicole had a serious substance problem and unlike Paris, has been to rehab countless times.

The latest being her arrest and detainment under the charge of DUI (driving under the influence). However this lass is the least bit repentant which makes us wonder if it will be carried on till Christmas. The reason we say this is because some time ago Nicole in an interview with a magazine said that it was her choice that she chose to do drugs, apart from this she also blamed her happy childhood!

Seems funny but Nicole said that she wanted to feel nothing and hence went ahead and liked it so much that she soon became an addict.
